January 2022 the student team reaches out to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund for a continuation of the grant. The students are awarded a grant for production of the onesie design.
In spring of 2021 Cancer Care Foundation MN partners with the University of MN Apparel Design program and teams with 10 students to develop a prototype Onesie.
